In September 2013, AMC announced they were developing a companion series to The Walking Dead, which follows a different set of characters created by Robert Kirkman. The families navigate through Los Angeles in search of a safe haven. At the onset of the zombie apocalypse, their group is joined by Daniel Salazar ( Rubén Blades), his wife Griselda ( Patricia Reyes Spíndola), and their daughter Ofelia ( Mercedes Mason). The season follows a dysfunctional, blended family composed of Madison Clark ( Kim Dickens), her fiancé Travis Manawa ( Cliff Curtis), her daughter Alicia ( Alycia Debnam-Carey), her drug-addicted son Nick ( Frank Dillane) and Travis' son Chris ( Lorenzo James Henrie) from a previous marriage to Liza Ortiz ( Elizabeth Rodriguez). The second season, comprising 15 episodes, premiered on April 10, 2016. On March 9, 2015, AMC announced it had ordered Fear the Walking Dead to series, with a two-season commitment. It was executive produced by Kirkman, David Alpert, Greg Nicotero, Gale Anne Hurd, and Dave Erickson, with Erickson assuming the role of showrunner. The series is a companion series and prequel to The Walking Dead, which is based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. I miss AL (Maggie Grace)! I hope this resolves well, I'm only watching now to see how it ends, not because I like it anymore.The first season of Fear the Walking Dead, an American horror-drama television series on AMC, premiered on August 23, 2015, and concluded on October 4, 2015, consisting of six episodes. The little girl adds nothing, but she seems to be holding her own. I've progressively disliked Morgan Character more and more. The writing and directing aren't where they need to be for her to shine. Kim Dickens must have been hard up for cash to take this role over. They took a strong character played by a great actress and made her another generic character that's acting nothing like her old self. Even the zombie makeup looks fake and half assed. Madison is back? Will she add anything good to the show? Season 8. Hated Strand in this, hated Alicia in this, hated what happened to her character. Strand is a bad guy now.who monologs! Like the Jenna Elfman and Dorie Sr.'s characters, but they didn't have enough screen time. The ones that did left before or during the season.

This season revealed that with some of the heavy hitters gone, the additional characters were background characters that moved up to full cast and couldn't carry the show. Seemed to take the show in a direction I didn't care for. Happy about one of the characters' deaths. This season has one of the few that I was so angry about that I reviewed it and gave it a 1 (In Dreams) I don't recommend it. They all just seemed to be getting through it instead of being in it. Happy to have Dwight and Sherry in this show from TWD. Didn't like the Virginia Character or her stupid sister.
Season 5, I picked back up in the middle somewhere. I was on a ship and didn't watch a lot of this season but heard about something in the season that made me not want to continue to watch the show so I gave up on it.
Season 3, they go to some other place where they take on more people still liked it, but there was a character I liked that didn't make it so I was kind of irritated by that. Nick ventured out on his own, didn't care for that character too much.
Still great, they find a hotel filled with guests but not all are living. We meet Strand and David and their families they spend some time on a Yacht and some lovable characters die. Season 1 follows Madison's family during the outbreak only from LA. If they bad guys spent more time killing and less time in a monolog, they'd have won everything by now. Same concept, zombies when you die and the group of good guys are always facing some bad guy group who has a leader that launches into a monolog. I was a huge fan of "The Walking Dead," the parent series of this spin off.
